These elegant placemats are hand-knitted from stainless steel in an artistic tradition of the people of Sumba, a tiny island paradise east of Bali in Indonesia. 

SOUQ uses especially fine wire to achieve a gossamer appearance that is testament to the deft hands and delicate work of the artisans who make these pieces. 

Sold as a set of 4 placemats. Available in black, green, copper or silver. Contact us to have coasters custom-made to match.

Please note that the organic nature of these placemats means that they have a gentle undulation in them and may not sit perfectly flat.
